EASTER NAILS!

I just love Easter!

Every Year my family in Sorsogon enjoy Easter Egg Hunts, But since I can't go home for the Lenten Season
I simply shouldn't miss the fun!
I remember crying for not getting any eggs on easter, I even have a photo of it!
And that's because everyone my age had a guide to hunting eggs and my loving brother (Ironic foreshadowing) would lead me to places where there are actually no eggs.
AAAWWWWWWWW!

Step 1: Apply a Pinkish Nude Base.

Step 2: For the four fingers make egg shapes in different colors, for the thumb make a rabbit shape

FOR THE RABBIT

Step 3: Make the Rabbit Shape with a Cream-colored Nail Polish. Making a small tip swiping down narrowly first for one ear, then another and then making a half circle to the tip of the nail for the head.

Step 4: Add the details. Grey for the earlobes and red for the nose

Step 5:Add the black details like eyes and whiskers. For a finer finish use a black liquid eyeliner. Preferably the cheap ones!

FOR THE EGGS:

Step 6: Its just like doing Easter eggs! Make color combination and lines

Step 7: Then add dots and zigzag lines.

 Happy Easter!
And be careful on the Egg Hunt!

"That" Winning Moment

ADQUEST 2013

Account: Pure n' Fresh feminine Wash
When we first heard who are client was we all went. WTF. From last year's Sanuk to a gender sensitive product that only favors women. I was expecting little interest from the boys. Yet 3CA5 made a smashing team with everyone really helping to make everything possible.

And guess what? We bagged 6 out of 11 Awards!!!!

Our Big Idea?

Be That Girl!

The whole thing would not have looked the way it is without our lovely model, Ms. Behavioral Science 2011-2012, Claud Tejam who stayed with us until 3am for our TVC and Photoshoot. Thank you so much much Claud!

It was the our first win as a class and as Mik said,
"We made winning look sexy"

I never had the chance to thank all the people who made the entire concept possible. Thanks to Stephen Velez who told us to get drunk on brainstorming night to get our Advertising copy "That Girl". To Krizelle So who was there all-throughout this Adquest thing, for drinking with me that night and for bring out the idea of "That Girl". To Eloize Dayanghirang for letting us ruin her favorite Song to use as our jingle  To Sharie Nepomuceno for being an awesome head and a human industrial fan on the shoot. For my bestfriend Gerard Serador for bringing flowers we barely used (haha my fault) since we were using green screen on the shoot,
and to Chay Medalla for giving up the Bed for me, on sleepovers

Love you 3CA5!

And F*ck we're Awesome.

Lighthouse Advertising

For our Adver Class we were tasked to create our own Advertising Agency. Being the Creative Director of the group my job was to create concepts, from TVCs to photoshoots and to prints. The first part of our project is to create the Company's Identity

We make new Classics

I'd like our Agency to be Free and Fun. That's why for our Agency Photoshoot and Video, I had people wear quirky clothes and costumes.

ABSC Elections 2013

Elections feels like Christmas in AB especially to those who belong in Political Parties.

DEKADA

is a Student Political Organization in the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Santo Tomas. It was founded in 1992 by young progressive individuals who sought change in the political status quo of that time. It has since established itself as the premier political party for student reformers, artists and leaders. Source: http://www.facebook.com/dekada.ust/info

Their roster of Candidates for the ABSC 2013 Elections

Since I made their paraphernalia this year. I wanted to post my Political Party's Candidate for this year's elections for future reference.

Gaining the Majority in the council is a great achievement for the party. But to live up to what we have promised and to stick to our principle of being pro-student posts new challenges. That is why I wanted to post this entry for me and for others to remember what they have promised and what we will strive to achieve this year.

Congratulations!

Haha, I really wasn't expecting since I was just doing it in compliance with my coursework. But I felt blessed knowing the judges of the event are KBP representatives.

Im such a happy girl receiving my heavy award

Make Up Head: Rent a musicale Adaptation

Mediartrix staged Rent last February 18-21 and guess what? I'm make-up head. Again!!!

(c) Aaron Protomartir. Celine Duran, make-up Head Rent

And so in tradition to my make up head stint I made some quirky post that would guide them in doing their makeup. Since my team only consist of me and my assistant Marj Calasin we really had to step up having to do make up for 16 casts and 11 chorus in just little time. So I made some make-up how-to's which I got from pinterest

(c) Celine Duran, photo from Pinterest
And since Rent is all about drugs, homosexuality and aids I made a "How to be Hiv Positive" Tutorial!

(c) Aaron Protomartir
So Lets gets started with the make-up? Whew!

Dunno who's head this is, haha

It was a struggle doing Angel's make-up. He had to look like a man on the first two scenes then Drag Make-up then simple then Man, then HIV Positive then dying. Talk about tensed the entire 2hours of the show! I really wanted to do the all heavy drag queen but it was quite impossible and impractical given the time and the fact it will be taken off within the show.

(c) Kim Wee-Ebol. Kaye Calleja as Maureen
April Hojilla as Mimi, Love her eyes <3

Kenneth Tornea as Mark, Yes men wear heavy make-up o stage too!

Clint as Collins. Yes the fake beard haha.

Seasons of Love Prod number

Rent possible is the hardest make-up stints I've done, considering the number of people who had to have and not have or look dead on stage. But it was so fun! another learning experience for me. Thank you Mediartrix!
